Jo Beth Sharp

JoBeth Sharp, 81, of Edmond, OK passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Bradford Village Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John D. Sharp. She was born in Longview, TX on July 10, 1928 to the late L.P. Fisher and Lillie Bell Gowen Fisher. JoBeth graduated from Mineola High School, attended ETSU in Commerce, TX; she graduated fromTyler Business College in Tyler, TX. Upon graduation she was employed at Gowan Sanatorium in Shreveport, LA where she met Johnny. JoBeth was a member of Summit United Methodist Church in Marshall, TX since 1962. She was employed at Harrison County Tax Office and then at Marshall High School Athletic Department. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jan and Joe Massey of Edmond, OK.; two grandsons John Massey of Gonzales, LA and Joel Massey of Edmond, OK; one sister, Linda McDowell of Texarkana, AR; two sister-in-laws Jeanette Sharpe of Rockwall, TX and Joyce Sharpe Rogers of Carthage, TX and many nieces and nephews who...
