Juanita S Allums of Prague, OK was born on April 12th, 1922 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Wesley and Avis Stewart. Juanita departed this life on October 13th, 2011 after a full and purposeful life. Some of her proudest accomplishments were in supporting the war efforts during WWII as an employee for Douglas Aircraft Co.; serving as a medical secretary to Cardiologist Dr. Robert Bailey at University Hospital; and her years working at the Cordell Beacon newspaper just before retirement. Her favorite pass times included spending time with immediate family, cross-word puzzles, quilting, collecting elephant figurines and enjoying a Braums’ hamburger. She leaves to cherish her memory a son and daughter-in-law, James and Nancy Baughman of Seminole, OK, step-daughter, Barbara Hunteman of Edmond, OK, granddaughter, Pamela Baughman of Arlington, TX, two nieces, one nephew and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Jess Allums, parents, Wesley and Avis Steward, brother, William (Bill) Steward, and granddaughter, Tracie Baughman.
