Judith Sours

Judith Lynn Haynes Sours of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on August 25, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69. Judy was born on July 3, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to Kneale Matt and Norma Artemis Haynes. She was a Registered Nurse in Ohio as well as in Oklahoma where she spent the majority of her life. Judy got to know the other side of nursing over the last decade when she became a patient herself. She underwent countless treatments and procedures over the years and was given the gift of a kidney transplant. Judy was preceded in death by her Father and Mother as well as her Brother Dennis Haynes, and Sister Janet Haynes Houlette. She is survived by her Brother Eric Haynes, her 3 children Cheryl Sours Hanna, Stephanie Sours Raade and Jim Sours. She is also survived by 3 beautiful grand children, cousins, and many, many friends. Judy's quick-wit and prickly disposition were unique. She touched the hearts and lives of so many. Judy's happiness came from caring for others who could not care for themselves. She did this in her career as a nurse as well as in her life as a selfless human being.
