Judy Lynn “Granny” Henderson of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away June 20, 2015 at the age of 62. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 7, 1953 to Lee and Jane Butler. She grew up in Edmond and attended Edmond High School. Judy was known as a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many and all. She will be remembered for her generous heart and the love she had for her family. Of particular note, Judy enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren, watching television and movies, talking on the phone with her daughter, and helping anyone that needed anything. After retiring, she did what she loved most, watched her grandchildren and gossiped about all the events happening in her local community. Judy loved a good laugh and a good story, and would listen to anyone willing to share. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, but will forever be in our hearts. It’s comforting to know that she has found peace in heaven with her son and parents. We love you Mom and Granny. Judy is preceded in death by both of her parents Lee and Jane, one son; Shane Revels, one daughter; Nicole Revels, one brother; Keith Butler, and many other beloved family and friends. Judy is survived by Two children; Shawn Judkins and wife Teresa of Newcastle, OK, and Janey Welborn and husband Brent of Edmond, OK, Three siblings; Charles Butler of Guthrie, OK, Nolan Butler of Oklahoma City, OK and Shannon Butler of Oswego, KS. Judy is also survived by her Seven beloved Grandchildren; Shane Revels (18), AubreyAnn Revels (15), Hayden Judkins (14), Ethan Welborn (6), Landin Judkins (5), Andi Jane Judkins (3) and Mason Welborn (2). A funeral service will be held for Judy at the First Christian Church of Edmond (201 E. 2nd Street, Edmond, OK) on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
