Julie Ann Parker died peacefully on April 24, 2009, at the age of 47 at her home in Edmond, Oklahoma, after a long and courageous battle against a chronic disease. Julie was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Alfred and Sharon Muench on December 13, 1961. She graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1979 and received her degree in psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1996. Julie was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years Leath Parker of the home, her mother Sharon Muench of Edmond, her daughters, Sarah Lynn Parker and her grandson, Aiden Zachary Parker Slagle of Edmond and Kimberly Parker Ivanov and her husband Bobi Ivanov of Louisville, Kentucky, and grandsons Luka Leath, Jonah Georgi, and Matea James, by her son  James Parker of Ft. Worth, Texas, by brother David Muench, by her Goddaughters Darby and Shelby Wright, and  by her dear friend Jerry Ikard. She was predeceased by her father, her brother Douglas Muench and sister Jennifer Muench. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 9th and Boulevard, Edmond at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Memorials may be made in Julie"™s name to the Ostomy Association of Oklahoma City, 1801 N.W. 36th, Oklahoma City, OK 73118. Â
