Kaellen Susan (Braddock) Sharp, 75, passed away February 24, 2021 in Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was born August 2,1945 in Beloit, Kansas. She grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and graduated from Manhattan High School in 1963. She married Mark Sharp December 29, 1963. Kaellen(Kay) and Mark made their home in Manhattan while Mark studied Engineering at Kansas State University. Their two children, Michael and Stephanie, were born during that time. Upon Mark’s graduation the family moved to Dallas where Mark worked at Texas Instruments and Kay was active in the community volunteering and as a teacher in their church pre-school. In 1973 the family moved to Oklahoma City. They joined Church of the Servant and Kay actively volunteered in the church and worked in the elementary school media center. In 1977, Kay and Mark founded their manufacturing company that later became Mar-K Specialized Manufacturing, Inc. By studying and reading Kay taught herself how to manage a business and she was very effective as the president and general manager. She retired from the business in 2017. Kay always enjoyed gardens and growing flowers and she loved spending time with her three grand-daughters. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Iris Bea Braddock and Glenn E Braddock, and by her brother-in-law Frank Griffith. Survivors include her husband Mark, children Michael Sharp and Stephanie Collison (Mike), Sisters Merilyn Griffith and Anise Falder (Dennis), brothers Glenn E Braddock Jr. (Lisa) and David Braddock (Joni), Grand-daughters Sydney Hargrove (Gabe), Macy Collison, Tori Collison, and by her aunt Fauna Jean Woods. A memorial service celebrating her life will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5 at Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur in Oklahoma City.
