The last page of the book of life of Karen Marie Sharp was written on March 11, 2010 in Oklahoma City with a surprisingly sudden ending that came many chapters too soon, leaving us wanting so much more, but happy that we experienced the pages of her journey. Karen was born in San Diego, Califoirnia, May 4, 1947 to William F. and Jacqueline L. Sharp. As the daughter of a career Navy man, she learned to adapt easily to new places and make new friends. Most of her last 20 years were spent living in Oklahoma, where she could be close to her parents, but she previously had resided in places ranging from Chicago and L.A. to Carmi, Illinois and Little Compton, Rhode Island. Karen"™s first degree was a bachelors in general studies from University of Michigan, so appropriate for someone whose varied interests could never be narrowed to just one subject.
