Kathryn Conyers

Kathryn Evagene (France) Conyers, died peacefully November 4, 2012 with loving family by her side. Kathryn was most recently of Edmond, Oklahoma, but she lived most of her adult life in Columbus, Nebraska. One of eight children, she was born in Syracuse, Nebraska on December 28, 1927. She was the widow of Donald Gene Conyers. Kathryn is survived by four children, Don Conyers and wife Dianne of Hastings, Nebraska, Tammy Orona and husband Walter of Edmond, Oklahoma, Bill Conyers and wife Cindy of Houston, Texas, and Mary Murray of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by two sisters, Norma Gene Anderson of Crete, Nebraska and Sharon Marek of West Des Moines, Iowa, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her son Barry Conyers, her parents, two brothers, and three sisters. Although Kathryn spent much of her life as a loving and attentive full-time mom, she also worked alongside her husband in family businesses.
