Kenneth Robert Uselton

Kenneth Robert Uselton Sr. (81) was the third of seven children born to Susie Uselton and Willie Franklin Uselton on January 25, 1940, in Oklahoma City.  He went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2021 after fighting Lung Cancer for 3 years Ken joined the Marines in 1957 at the age of 17 and served for 30 years.  He was married for 29 years to Barbara and blessed with three children: Terri Myrick , Sheryl Kordis, and Kenny.  He is currently married to Susan for 33 years.       Ken was preceded in death by his son Kenny, 4 Brothers and a sister (Darrell, Monty, Frank, Jack and, Joyce), and his Mom and Dad. Ken is survived by his wife Susan, his first wife Barbara, his sister Johnnie Bross and husband Tommy, two daughters,  Terri Myrick and Sheryl Kordis (and her husband Bill),  and 7 Grandchildren; Glen Kordis, Sabrina Kordis (and her partner Heather), Jennifer Basham, John Kordis (and his wife Sarah), Jessica Brown (and her husband Anson), Alica Kordis and Matthew Lambrecht. In addition, he had 8 Great Grandchildren: Kendal Kordis-Verner, Sadie Weaver, Julian Brown, Olivia Basham, William Kordis, Liam Basham, Joseph Kordis and Julia Kordis.    Services will be held at  2:00 PM Saturday October 16, at the Lone Star Baptist Church located at 1805 E Hefner, Okla City. If you wish, make donations to American Cancer Society of OKC or if you prefer, send plants or bulbs to Susan for outside planting in Ken’s honor.
