Lana C. O'Hara

Life Celebration Service Monday, September 28th, 2015 - 10:00 AM - Journey Church 3801 Journey Pkwy - Norman, OK - 73072 Lana Charlene O'Hara was born in Carnegie, Oklahoma during a tornado. She graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1969, and continued to live in the Oklahoma City area for most of her life. Lana enjoyed waterskiing as a kid, and later took up tennis. She liked to cook and travel, and was a big fan of Christmas and Mexican food. Lana worked at Mathis Brothers for many years, but found her calling at Ideal Homes as a new home consultant where her co-workers became a second family. Lana is preceded in death by her father, Charles Bauman, step-mother, Joyce Bauman, and step-father Leonard Kendall. She is survived by her mother, Lorene Hungerford; her brother, Steve Bauman and his wife, Chris Bauman; her sister, Rana Noble; her sons Tracy Wadley and Seth Wadley; Tracy's partner, Samantha Hawkins, and Tracy's children: Tessa, Gavin, and Cameron Wadley; Seth's wife, Nina Wadley, and their children, Spence and Blake Wadley; her nieces: Katie Jennings, Sarah Roberts, and Kelly Smith; her nephews: John Noble, Kyle Bauman, Daniel Noble, and Luke Noble; and many friends. Memorial services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Journey Church in Norman at 10 o'clock a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations are sent to the American Cancer Society.
