Larry Hernandez

Larry Wayne Hernandez died peacefully at his home December 8, 2012. He was born April 27, 1948 to Dan and Rena (Wiseman) Hernandez in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1966. Larry attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah on a football scholarship. He loved football and credited his football achievements to his high school coaches and teammates. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Naval Corpsman. He was retired from his veterinary laboratory business where his clients were not only clients but friends. Larry is survived by his wife, Wanda; brothers Bruce Hernandez (Karen & Ryan) and Tony Hernandez; his mother-in-law, mom Elaine Huffman of the home; step-son, John DuShane; and The Boys, his precious pets, Dancer and Raz and many friends and relatives.
