Linda Christine "Chris" LeRoy

Linda Christine “Chris” LeRoy was born on September 4^th, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska to Stephen and Jane Davidson.  She grew up in California with her 10 siblings before relocating to Oklahoma with her 4 children Linda, Robbie, Roger, and Laura.  

Her 76 years of living took her all over the country, right up to fishing for Halibut in Alaska.  Chris was an excellent writer, former race car driver, and avid reader.  She enjoyed being outside, tending to plants and gardening, watching true crime documentaries, writing poetry and spending time with her grandchildren.  

Many of those who loved her will remember her by her not so slight obsession with turtles.  

Her love, hugs, presence and unmistakable laugh will truly be missed.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Roger, great granddaughter Hazel, and 3 siblings Aaron, Ethan, and Geoff.  She is survived by 7 siblings, Priscilla, Martha, Mary, Thad, Bernie, Stephanie, and Hannah; her children Linda Walker, Robbie Pride and Laura Jenkins; grandchildren Courtney, Allie, Ciara, Brian, Lexy, Dillon, Derek and 10 great grandchildren.  

An intimate private service will be held with family.
