Linda Spears

Linda I. Miller Spears was born to Bobbie (Grider) and Kenneth Miller on May 22, 1949. She passed away on December 13, 2009, after a three-year battle with ovarian cancer. Her parents and stepfather, David Jernigan, preceded her in death. In 1977 Linda married Ron Spears. Although they were later divorced, he remained her best friend. Linda enjoyed a 25-year career with Warren Caterpillar. She loved her dogs and cats and would not turn away a stray needing a home. Linda is survived by Ron Spears; a brother, Mike Jernigan; a sister, Deanna Hawk; and nieces and nephews. Linda will be remembered for her sparkling eyes and beautiful smile and will be missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, at the Forest Hills Christian Church, 2121 N. MacArthur, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: HOPE in Oklahoma, P.O.
