Lloyd Alan Novak passed away peacefully December 27, 2012, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. Lloyd was born October 26, 1931 to John and Irene Novak in Yukon, Oklahoma and attended school there. He married Jackie Jinks in 1957 and in time they became parents to Timothy, Robbie, Tracy and Todd. Lloyd enjoyed farming and mechanic work in his early years and later joined the Pontiac Division of General Motors as a Service Manager for Parts & Service retiring in 1988 as an Arbitrator. In December, 2002, he married Linda Steele, and they had 10 wonderful years together. Lloyd never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He was proud of his Czech heritage and delighted in speaking Czech with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene Novak, and sister, Arlene. He is survived by his wife Linda of the home; daughter Terri Booth of Edmond, OK; son Timothy and wife Julie of Austin, TX; son Robbie and wife Stephanie of Portland, OR; daughter Tracy Holland and husband David of Colleyville, TX; and son Todd and wife April of Edmond, OK; also, stepsons Jason Gilbert of Edmond, OK, and John Gilbert and wife Sue of Bartonville, TX; and brother Johnny and wife Shirley of Yukon, OK. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, as well as a host of dear friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the Crossings Community Church Chapel, 14600 North Portland, Oklahoma City.
