Lois F. 92, passed away November 25, 2011 in OKC. She was born on October 29, 1919 in Genoa, Nebraska. She was the second of two children born to Chester and Pauline Whaley. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1938. She married Herbert R. Krob on August 17, 1941. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1998. She was a loving wife and mother to her family and will be greatly missed. She always had a smile on her face and accepted the challenges of her life with grit and determination. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, baking, playing bridge, fishing and hunting. She served as secretary on the Board of Directors of the South YMCA for several years. Most of all she loved her family and was always the shoulder to lean on in difficult times. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Dr. Raymond Krob and wife Ann of OKC and Don Krob of OKC, grandchildren Patricia Cone, Paula, Adam and Chris Krob. In lieu of flowers donations to the Central Oklahoma Humane Society or Alzheimer’s research would be appreciated.
