Lola Mae Tevebaugh, who would have celebrated her 83rd birthday in May, passed away in Edmond, Oklahoma. She and her younger sister, Helen Holcomb, were born in Custer, South Dakota, and Lola’s heart always remained in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
In November 1957, Lola married Rudy Tevebaugh, and they shared 57 wonderful years together before Rudy's passing in October 2015. As a devoted military spouse, mother, sister, and jack-of-all-trades, Lola dedicated much of her life to being a stay-at-home wife and mother.
Lola is preceded in death by her husband, and son Troy Allen Tevebaugh. She is survived by her eldest son, Randy Tevebaugh, and his wife, Shar; her daughter, Tammy Wilcox, and her spouse, Leonard. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many adopted family members, all of whom she loved dearly.
Lola Mae Tevebaugh will be remembered as a free and loving spirit, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
