Loyd Sigle

10/12/1948 to 1/2/2010 Loyd Leon Sigle was born Oct. 12, 1948, Clinton, OK to Margaret & Lyndon Sigle. He was raised in OKC & graduated in 1967 from Putnam City HS. In 1969 he married the love of his life, Vickie Eatherly. Together they raised two children. Just after marriage he was deployed to Vietnam & spent the next 2 yrs stationed on various Naval Aircraft Carriers. In 1971 he returned to OKC & began working at Fleming Foods for the next 30yrs. He also joined the Army Natl Guard & was a devoted Soldier for 37 yrs. Loyd lived a very full life. He enjoyed building & flying RC airplanes, restoring old cars, hunting, & woodworking. He & Vickie spent any free time they had riding their motorcycle. Last summer they rode to Alaska & back for their 40th Anniversary. Loyd was a distinguished shooter & won many marksmanship awards over the course of his life. He was an incredibly amazing Pappy to Braden, Lachlan, Zachary, & Avery. He was preceeded in death by his brother, Ronald Sigle, his father, Lydon Sigle, granddaughter Ashley Rose Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Sigle, daughter Aimee Gordon & husband Daniel, son Landis Sigle & wife Mical, mother, Margaret Sigle, brother Donald Sigle as well as 4 grandchildren, many cousins, nieces & nephews. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, Jan. 8, 1PM at the American Legion, 5000 SE 24th , Del City.
