Service Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 10:00AM Chapel Hill United Methodist Church 2717 W Hefner Road OKC 73120 Marilyn Janene Dean, 81, entered into the joy of her Lord and Savior July 6, 2017. She was born March 15, 1936, in Enid, OK to Harold & Evelyn Wiens. Marilyn grew up in Pond Creek and graduated from Pond Creek - Hunter High School in 1954. After high school, she earned an education degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1958 and taught mainly 3rd grade for over 30 years with the Oklahoma City Board of Education. Marilyn met Jimmy Dean in Oklahoma City during Dec. of 1960 and they married June 30, 1963, in Pond Creek and recently celebrated 54 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Jim; two sons, Scott and Steven; two grandsons, Zachary and Jared; and her sister, Carolyn Hennigh. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Kevin Paul. There will be a Viewing Tuesday, July 11, 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Corbett Funeral & Cremation, 807 W. Wilshire Blvd. in Oklahoma City. Marilyn's Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 12 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 2717 W. Hefner Rd., Oklahoma City.
