Melvin Burgess

Melvin Joe Burgess, of Oklahoma City, transitioned from his earthly existence to his heavenly reward on November 19, 2012 at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Doris (Colwell) Burgess; his brothers: James Burgess, Oscar Burgess, and Alvis Burgess; and sisters: Elizabeth Woods, Dovie Russell, Sylvia Adams, Georgia Russell, Alta Trollinger, Nellie Unrue, Paulin Yentz, Alma Burgess, He is survived by 6 children: Bill Burgess, Pam Hestand, Judy Bingham, Linda Doonkeen, Patty Kittrell and Edward Burgess; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; and one sister Jimmie May Harris.
