Michael Lunn

Michael Dennis Lunn passed away unexpectedly July 14, 2011 at his home in Oklahoma City. Michael was born February 12, 1947 in Oklahoma City to John T. and Lafon Lunn. He graduated from Northwest Classen High School and then served in the US Air Force. He spent most of his life in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his family ranch. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Smith. Surviving him is his wife Freda and his two daughters, Michelle Jones of Thornton, Colorado and Wendy Lunn of Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Also, surviving him are a sister Judy Lakin and husband Roy, sister in-law Diana Smith, granddaughters Makayla, Micah, Lauren and Kirsten, and other family and friends too many to mention.A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Resurrection Free Methodist Church located at 6000 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK.He will be laid to rest at the LSL Ranch in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.It is suggested that those of you attending the graveside part of the service bring an umbrella to provide additional shade.Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 19th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
