He is preceded in death by his father John Moffitt, grandmother Lottie Moffiitt, and his great-grandmothers Virginia Ketchum and Lois Beshers. He is survived by his mother Shelly Oxford and husband Joe, his fiancé Amy and their three beautiful daughters: Tryhadi, Kylie & Kadyn. He is also survived by: grandparents Jim & Patricia Roberts, grandfather Lynval Moffitt, sister Melanie Moffitt and brother Christopher Moffitt. Michael loved motorcycles, working with his hands in his grandfather’s workshop, and was an avid collector of swords and pocket knives. Anyone who met Michael would describe him as "kind and the type of person to give the shirt off of his back to you if you needed it". Michael spent most of his time caring for his three young, energetic, beautiful daughters. While Michael was never much of a dancer, he loved spending time with his girls at the Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance at their school.
