Myrna Dee Moore

Myrna"™s Story   Myrna Dee Moore completed her earthly journey and went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2011.  Myrna Dee was born in Clinton, OK, on October 30, 1936 to Naomi Ruth and Dee Moore. She grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton Public Schools, graduating in 1954.    She completed her bachelor"™s and master"™s degrees at OSWSU.  She began her teaching career in 1958 at Coolidge Elementary in Oklahoma City Public School system.  Myrna was a principal at several schools in the OKC system: Edwards, North Highlands, Rockwood and Star Elementary.  Myrna sat on several professional boards and was active in her professional organizations, serving as president of ACEI in l968. Myrna"™s career with OKC schools spanned 37 years.   Myrna was a mentor to many people.  Everyone who knew her appreciated her positive, supportive attitude and her great sense of humor.  She believed that every moment should be lived to the fullest and exemplified that...
