Nada Arlene Goodman Wilson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 14, 2014 after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Nada was born September 1, 1938 in Hinton, Oklahoma and was the second of seven daughters born to Arlis E. and Pearl F. Goodman. Nada graduated from East Walnut High School and then attended Draughn’s School of Business in Oklahoma City before working for the State of Oklahoma in The Department of Human Services for 30 years. Nada married the late Norman Fitzmorris in 1961 in Clinton, Oklahoma and they had three daughters, Kim, Ranea and Debbie. The couple divorced in 1997. At this time Nada was fortunate to find a wonderful man who loved her dearly. She married the late Jack Wilson April 17th, 1999. Jack was called home on September 5th, 2009. Nada loved camping, gardening, working out and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and entire family. Nada is survived by three daughters: Kimberly and husband Shane Matheny, Edmond, OK; Ranea Compton and fiancé Mike Brown, Ardmore, OK and Debbie Thomas and fiancé Jim Ross, Midwest City, OK. She was a loving “Nini” to her two grandchildren: Brandon and wife Molly Hey and Breawna Hey and one great grandchild: Lucy Hey. She was also blessed with step children, Brent and wife, Julie and Debbie and husband Steve Crabb; step grand-children, Stephanie and husband Michael Tachell, Dustin Hey, and Jacob, Nicole and Ryan Wilson and step-great grandchild, Lilly Hey. She was also survived by four sisters: Gail and Olin Fox, Ann and Dwain Crutcher, Thelma Sellick, Marie and David Terry and brother-in-law, Ray Robinson. Nada was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and two sisters: Nelda Robinson and Sharon Carlton. Nada was blessed to have a very special caregiver who provided amazing care and love during the last years of her life: Kayla Truss-Cargle. The family thanks and loves her dearly. Mom loved spending time with her family. She demonstrated loyalty, honesty, hard work and respect (along with a little spunk and sass) to her daughters and grandchildren and extended family and friends. Sweet Mom, it was an honor to care for you the last years of your life. We are excited for your comfort, peace and joy in Heaven. We thank and love you with all our hearts, Kim, Ranea and Debbie.
