Naomi Christofferson passed away Thursday, July 29, 2011, surrounded by her family at home in Oklahoma City. She was born November 7, 1930, in Cache, Oklahoma, the eldest child of Ed and Mary Locke Wheat. She graduated from Fox High School and attended East Central College in Ada. She taught for many years in the Communications Lab at Oklahoma City Community College where she also helped with the publication of The Absolute.
She is survived by her husband Doyle, whom she married September 29, 1956, at Trinity Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her children: Rolan (Eileen) of Boulder, Colorado; Sheryl Christofferson, and Donna (John) Key, both of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Joshua (Sarah) Christofferson, Ransom (Jessica) Christofferson, Tanya, Sophia, and Anna Christofferson; and a soon-to-be great-granddaughter, all of Colorado; Ruth, Sam, Hannah, and Stephen Key of Oklahoma City; sisters Winnie Hobbs of Ada, Oklahoma; Wilda Edwards of Texas, and Carolyn (Bill) Sheffield of the...
