He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Omer and Jo Ann(Sutherland) Lear on February 13, 1956. Nick served two tours in the Vietnam War, where he was honorably discharged. He was a part of many industries including, Oil field, truck driving, and sheet metal fabrication. He was a proud man and took pride in everything he did. Nick was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jana Lear Wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Karen Lear; and three beautiful daughters, Danielle, Stephanie, and Emily Lear; and a granddaughter Melody Johnson.
