Nora (Elnora) Smith Barker left this earth to be with her heavenly father on February 6, 2011. Nora, born October 20, 1941, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, was the youngest of 13 children born to Alfred Luther and Eddie Elnora Smith. Nora worked as a bookkeeper/accountant in the oil and gas industry and for a local optical business prior to retiring. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, gardening, and working on various crafts. She was also an avid reader. She was a member of the American Business Women"™s Association and a breast cancer survivor. She is preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and her life companion, Milton Tinney. She is survived by two sisters: Kathryn Tudor and Margaret Smeltzer; two brothers: Verrall Smith and David Smith; three daughters: Anita Anderson and husband Tom of Yukon; Teresa Robinson and husband Jon of Newcastle; and Patricia Ayling and husband Rick of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Stable Rock Baptist Church, 1301 S. Cemetery Road, Yukon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Susan G.
