Patsy Ryan, 75 of Oklahoma City, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 13. Patsy was born May 4, 1938, in England, Arkansas, to Thomas W. and Margaret Foster Perkins. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1954 and graduated from Classen High School in 1956. Patsy was known for her big heart and infectious laugh. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and dog lover. In death, as in life, she was a hero to many. Patsy is survived by children Tim Ryan, Kelly Ryan, Cindy Radford, Shannon Ryan Hitchcock and Brace Hitchcock, and their father Gary Ryan, all of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Brendan and Tristan Hitchcock; two grandnieces, Jordan and Jillian Brinner; brother and sister-in-law Thomas W. and Jerre Perkins; sister-in-law Donna Perkins; nieces and nephews Kimberly and Bill Brinner, Tom and Naomi Perkins, Margaret Christine Perkins, Wende Wood and Tom Ganchuk; and beloved cousins, friends and dogs. She is preceded in death by a brother Terry Perkins; a fiance Ladd Gwinn; and life-long friends Gloria Levins and Ruth Hadley. Visitation is Monday, March 17, from 5 to 7 p.m., Corbett Funeral Service, 807 W. Wilshire Blvd. OKC, OK. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the Resurrection Free Methodist Church, 6000 N.
