Paul Burke

Paul D. Burke, 48, passed away Sunday, September 12 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Newton, MA on March 21 and was raised in Oklahoma City and Enid, OK. He is a graduate of Enid High School and Oklahoma City University and worked at the Oklahoma County Assessor"™s office at the time of his death. Paul"™s sense of humor and kind heart endeared him to everyone whose life he touched. He is survived by his wife, Beth Payne Burke, his brother Joe Burke and his wife Polly and their daughter Allison of Vinita; sister Terri Wolin, her husband Michael and their children Josh, Seth and Sarah of Greenburg, NY; brother Ken Burke and his wife Gail of Oklahoma City and their daughters Cassandra and Cornelia of Frankfort, KY; sister Stephanie Burke of Oklahoma City; and his step-mother Judy Burke of Krum, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Connie Burke of Oklahoma City and Bill Burke of Krum, TX, and his first wife Debra Burke of Norman. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 17 at 4 p.m. at Mayflower Congregational Church followed by a Celebration of Life at Paul and Beth"™s home.
