The visitation will be Thursday, August 26th at Corbett Funeral Service, located at 807 W Wilshire Blvd in OKC Graveside Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 27th at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Arcadia, OK. Pauline Wilbourn died peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Retama Living Center in Pleasanton, Texas. She was 86 years old, but looked much younger. Pauline was born in Cordell, Oklahoma on August 10, 1924. Her parents were Arthur and Zettie Maude Wilbourn. Pauline graduated from Clinton High School, Clinton, Oklahoma on June 2, 1944. She earned a Scholarship to Draughon School of Business on September 7, 1945. Pauline went to work for the Oklahoma Publishing Company in 1946. She worked in the Circulation Department for 39 years. She was promoted and held the position of Administrative Assistant to the Circulation Director for many years until her retirement in 1985.Pauline started a new career when she purchased a small ranch in Southeast Oklahoma City. She raised chickens, cattle, and the best garden in the state. She loved the outdoors, her animals, and everything that was nature. When age took over she moved to her lake house on Lake Hiwassee where she really retired except for growing tomatoes. Pauline lived at her lake house for four wonderful years.  The last year of her life was spent at the Retama Living Center in Pleasanton, Texas. Pauline received the upmost care from her doctors and nurses as well as lots of love from her extended family in Texas.
