Peggy Jean Mitchell

Peggy Jean (Stephens) Mitchell went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69. Peggy was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 18, 1951 to parents Bobby Gene Stephens and Katherine LaDean (West) Leonard. She graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1969. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved spending time with friends and family. Peggy was a loving and devoted wife, an admiring and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her brother Richard Stephens, her infant daughter Jennifer, and her grandson Garrett Grider. She leaves cherished memories with her loving husband Tony Mitchell, mother Katherine Leonard, son Gordon (Trey) Grider and his wife Kristi, daughter Heather (Grider) Harden and husband Jason, 1 sister Kathy Hargrove and husband Chris, sister-in-law Karen Stephens, 5 grandchildren Hallie, Peyton, Kelsey, Morgan and Maddie, 1 great-grandson Kash, and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
