Robert Lukaszek

Robert Stanley Lukaszek, 70, passed away May 9, 2011. He was born December 5, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley and Helen Lukaszek. He graduated from Gage Park High School where he met Virginia Smola. Shortly before their marriage in 1961, he began a 40 year career working for Western Electric in Oklahoma City. He was active in the OKC Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the IBEW. He had a great love of golf and bowling, but his greatest love was his family. He leaves behind his wife, Virginia; his mother, Helen; his daughter, Lauren Ivy and her husband Steve; his son, Jeff Lukaszek and his wife Mary; sister, Dolores King and her husband Ralph; and six grandchildren: Rachel, Maren, Anna, Ryan, Garrett and Gavin. A memorial mass will be celebrated in his honor Thursday, May 12, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 7500 W. Britton, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
