Woodford Entered This life on November 30,1943 Kansas City, Missouri Entered Eternal life on June 18, 2021 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Robert "Bob" Woodford of Oklahoma City went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born November 30, 1943, and was the son of Wesley and Mildred (McCannon) Woodford. He was born in Kansas City and attended Kansas University as an undergraduate in liberal arts before joining the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller stationed in Corpus Christie, Texas. While in the service, he met his adoring wife Carol J. "Nicki" Nicolai, and eventually married at the age of 20. After the Navy, his career began in St. Louis, Missouri with the Federal Aviation Administration, where he gained outstanding achievements over the years through management and leadership. He eventually retired from the F.A.A. in 1997 in Indianapolis, Indiana, after 32 years of service. His personal interests and hobbies included boating, camping, fishing, and woodworking. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend of the church. He was a generous and kind man with a big heart. He is survived by his beautiful wife Nicki, daughter Stephanie (Phil) Lauk, son Brian {Stephanie)Woodford, grandchildren Ashley (James) Kropp, Catherine (Ben) Levy, Loretta and Charles Lauk, and Sarah Woodford. Also, best fur friend kitty Winston. He is preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Mildred Woodford, and Carl Hibbs.
