Ronald James Sills

Ronald J. Sills passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on January 23, 2016. He was 76 years old. He lived in Oklahoma City and Yukon, Oklahoma most of his life. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on March 8, 1940 to Lawrence J. and Mary Elizabeth Sills. He was a loving father to Richard Sills, Mark Sills, Mary Beth Boyd and Keri Whitson. Ron had one brother, Larry Sills of Weatherford, TX. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Roni Sills, Riki Diffee, Cooper Sills, Conner Whitson, Parker Whitson and Mayson Elizabeth White. He also leaves behind 2 great grandchildren, Oliver and Vann Diffee. Also survived by 2 nephews, Greg Sills, Scott Sills and a niece, Lori Kay Sills. Ron was a loving father and friend to all that knew him. He loved being a Police Officer for the City of Yukon. He had a kind and generous soul with a wonderful since of humor. He also loved to watch NASCAR. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice of Oklahoma City. There was a private service held for Ronald with immediate family. The family would like to thank The Lakes Nursing Home for all they did for him and also to Crossroads Hospice for their kindness at the end of his life. Ron will be missed by all that knew him.
