Rosetta Reed

Rosetta Reed was born February 20, 1925 in Logan County, Oklahoma. She was one of five children born to WM. Jackson and Lucinda Allen. Rosetta accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a very godly, oriented woman. The Lord later crossed the paths of Mr. Sidney Thomas and Ms. Rosetta Reed, of whom would later become married and induce three wonderful kids together. Unfortunately, Rosetta soon lost her husband, Mr. Sidney Thomas. Rosetta would later marry Mr. Garfield Reed and bring forth two more beautiful children. The two of them and their family endured many cherishable years together all the way up until the good Lord brought Mr. Garfield in to be with him. Ms. Rosetta Reed then continued out the remainder of her life as a widow of which she was when our heavenly Father called her home. Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will be highly missed by not only us, but all who were close to her. To know her was to love her. Her prominent, yet tenderly loving, ways are what will be missed the most; and the way she expressed her love to the fullest thereof. Rosetta leaves behind two sons and a daughter, David Thomas of Spencer, OK, Sidney Thomas of Dungee, OK, and Della Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK. Rosetta also grand-mothered thirteen grandchildren and was great grandmother to 28 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members.
