Ross Freeman Scott of Prague, OK passed away January 23, 2015 after a short stay in a care home. Ross was born in Clearwater, KS. February 20, 1919, as the only child of Rufus & Nita Scott both of Clearwater, KS. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 28 years, after he served his country in WWll as a bomber B-17 pilot. He earned his Purple Heart after his plane was shot down on the French side, during his 14th mission. He was a member of the Wichita Consistory, Buster G Brown lodge 433 AF-AM & Prague lodge 209 AF-AM. He is preceded in death by his parents & many cousins. Survived by his wife of the home, Prudence L. Scott, daughter Sharon Perkerson, Marietta, GA.; son Michael Scott, Arlington, TX; stepchildren, Marla Wright, Prague, OK, and Kim Curtis, Seminole, Ok. Grandchildren, John Perkerson, Virginia Beach, VA; Kathy Hunt, Marietta, GA; Mathew Scott, Arlington, TX; Sarah Lawrence, Keller, TX; Justin Wright, E.Alton, IL; Jacqueline Wright, Prague, OK; Jerrid Wright, Lafayette, IN and eleven(11) great-grandchildren, plus a host of friends.
