Sharon Kay Lloyd went to be with her Heavenly Father July 21, 2021. Sharon was born in Elk City, OK to Jimmie and Imogene Hamman on December 7, 1952. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1971 and went on to earn a bachelors of science in dental hygiene from the University of Oklahoma in 1975. Sharon was president of her hygiene class, served on the alumni committee, OU's JDR dental board, the dental hygiene selection committee and taught at the college of dentistry for 24 years. She was selected as outstanding part time faculty more than once. Sharon was part of OKC's Junior hospitality, taught numerous Sunday school classes and served as a cub scout leader. Sharon loved music and was a talented piano player. She also was known as a crafted baker, especially for her sugar cookies. Sharon loved to travel and was especially happy when on a beach. Sharon's greatest joy was her family. She was married to Jimmy Wilson Lloyd for 43 years. She has five children: Terri and husband Jim DeFoe of Austin, TX, Becky and husband Steve Yoder of Palmer Lake, CO, Chris Lloyd of Dallas, TX, Emily and husband Lake Arrington of Pampa, TX, and Nick and wife Bailey Lloyd of Dallas, TX. Sharon had 13 grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is survived by her father, Jimmie Hamman of Moore, OK and sister Kathy Blair of Edmond, nieces and a nephew and numerous cousins that she loved dearly. Sharon will be missed by those who loved her but will be reunited one day in heaven
