Sherry A. Roberts

October 9, 1948 — March 2, 2014

Sherry A. Roberts was born in Enid, Ok and died peacefully in her sleep on March 2, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. For many years, she worked at the Oklahoma Bioscience Center as Director of Operations and retired from Oklahoma Center of Science/Technology. She was a professional with a sharp mind and a talent for organization. Sherry liked vacationing in Hot Springs, she loved her little Maltese puppies, but most of all she loved her family and friends. She was our inspiration, our resident computer expert, our shoulder to cry on and the one who always built us up. She was preceded in death by: her father G.L. Womble, her mother Patricia Womble, her step-mother Louise Aycock-Womble, and her sister Deborah Kay Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Mark S. Roberts Oklahoma City, OK, her daughter Patricia Ringgold Oklahoma City, OK, her son J.D. Kirk of Florida, 4 sisters: Jana S Bills of Oklahoma City, OK, Deborah L Smith of Walla Walla, WA., R Fay Duvall of Edmond, OK, Mary F Martin of Oklahoma City, OK 3 brothers: Bill Aycock, Jim Aycock, and G. Larry Womble all of Oklahoma City, OK 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her celebration of life memorial service will be held at "The Rock Assembly of God Church" on Monday, March 10th at 1:00p.m. Address is 12500 S Penn OKC, OK 73170 Memorial donations may be made to Oklahoma Breast Cancer Research.
