Shirley Beesley

On January 15, 2014, our beautiful sister, stepmother, grandmother, aunt, and friend left her earthly home to live with Jesus. Shirley was born August 30, 1932 in Laverne, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, two sons Gene and Rick, and stepson Steve. She is survived by grandson Eric Maxey of the home, stepson Scott Beesley and wife Linda of Las Vegas, sisters Pat Reynolds of Norman and Pearl Kirkham of Oklahoma City, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Shirley was a member of McFarland United Methodist Church in Norman and the Norman Newcomers Club. She loved spending time with friends playing Bunco, Mahjong, or Chicken Foot. She met life with love and a beautiful smile. We will miss our Friday morning visits sharing coffee, cappuccino, and donuts. So we will say goodnight, till we meet again.
