Shirley Ferguson

Shirley Ann Ferguson, age 73, passed away august 11th 2009 and went to join herheavenly father.  She was born on May 22, 1936  to Aldine and Bob Greene. She married Bill Ferguson and enjoyed 50 wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by mother and father along with a great many other host of family and friends.  She is survived by son Mark Ferguson and his wife Susan Ferguson of Yukon Oklahoma, sister Sharon Young of Oklahoma City, grand children Chelle and Bert Spears of Yukon Oklahoma, Jenny and Bill Blue-Frick of Yukon, and Tim and Lindsey Ferguson  of Frisco Tx. , and five great grand children: Alexus Scott, Haelle Scott, Rebbecca Spears, Ethan Blue-Frick, and Gavin Blue-Frick. Shirley was a strong and wonderful woman who loved children and owned many childcare  centers  at one time. they were called Shirley's little people.  She was known as "Nana" to the grand children, and great grand children. She was very proud of her family. She was the kind of grand mother that always knew just what to say to encourage the grandchildren in every way that she could. Shirley was the kind of mother grandmother and great grand mother who had a great sense of humor, was loved very much, and will be greatly missed.  Though she may not be here in body she is always with us in spirit and the things we learned will live on for generations to come.  We will find comfort in knowing that she has gone before us to be with our Lord and Savior and we will meet again some day on the streets of gold.                    Remember The memories that we have of you will last so very long. All the teachings that you gave us made us very strong. Your courage was inspiring like none i've ever know. It is something we inherited from all the strength you've shown. We know your in a better place and sorrow is no more. So rejoyce and praise our Lord and Savior and let your spirit soar.       -C.
