Shirley Pamplin

Shirley Lea Pamplin, of Oklahoma City, passed away Thursday, June 3rd , 2010, at the age of 73. The daughter of the late James and Hannah Wahl, she graduated from Okeene High School, and later attended Okla. City School of Business. She excelled as a stay at home mother and eventually began a career with UPS for 14 years as an insurance administrator. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 53 years, Kenneth, her daughter, Jeanene Frohmiller and two sons, James and Tim Pamplin, one sister, Donna Safari, two grandchildren Mandi and Mike Varnell, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private ceremony for the family will take place at Gracelawn Cemetery, in Edmond. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Memorial Christian Church at 1915 N. Meridian Ave OKC, OK 73107 on June 17th at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service from 3:00-4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to her church.
