Stella Scruggs

Stella Lee Scrugs passed away Friday February 20th 2009 at Edmond Health Center. Stella was born on September 26th 1923 to Samuel and Eva Harris. She married Manley Scruggs in 1970 and he passed away in 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Eva Harris; her husband Manley; her sisters, Jewel and Nellie; her brothers, James, Carl, Bill, Alton, and Tommy. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Watson; her daughters Linda Williamson and Frieda Percival; her son Harold Elledge; eight grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. She was one of eight siblings; three sisters and five brothers. She had three children. Stella was a homemaker for most of her adult life; while she was a single mom she loved taking care of her home and children.
