Steve Eldon Fitzgerald passed away at age 67 on June 7, 2010. He was born in Oklahoma City on July 16, 1942 to Cecil and Edith Fitzgerald. He last worked for SAIC as an analysis. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1994 after many years there. He was a long time off-ice official for the CHL hockey team The Blazers. Volunteered for many years for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife as a Hunter Education Instructor. There wasn't a place he could go where he did not meet a person he knew, and he was always there for family and friends when they needed him. He is preceded in death by his Father Cecil Fitzgerald, his Mother Edith Fitzgerald, and his Brothers Wayne, Stanley and Reece Fitzgerald. He is survived by his wife Beverly Fitzgerald of OKC and Her Mother, Ima Jean Button, Son; Kevin Fitzgerald of OKC, Sisters; Lois Benne and Earlene Baxter both of Edmond, his Aunt; Jean Ladd of OKC, and many, many beloved nieces and nephews. There will be no funeral services or memorial services per his request. In Lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
