On April 4, 2021, the world lost one of the greatest women it had never known, Susan Kay Belcher. Susan was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, known as adrenocortical carcinoma. She courageously battled for over a year before succumbing to the disease way too early in life. Susan was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments in this world. Susan was born on September 11, 1955 to Betty and David House in Dallas, Texas. Susan and her amazing two sisters, Gail and Diane, moved many times throughout their youth, before settling in Oklahoma City. It was there she met her husband, Bill Belcher, whom she fell in love with and married in 1973, mostly for all his riches. Hand in hand, Susan and Bill travelled through life together and rarely left each other’s side. Through the good times and the bad times, their love endured and will never end. Susan is survived by her daughter, Trisha Dooner, husband Jay Dooner, and her son, Ryan Belcher, wife Cacey Belcher. Susan was also an incredible grandmother to five, Kaylie Dooner, Brenden Dooner, Rylan Dooner, Abbey Belcher & Connor Belcher. After working a variety of jobs throughout the years, Susan had worked for First American Title and Trust Company for many years, where she befriended so many. Bravely, Susan continued to work through her declining health and multiple treatments, in order to pursue her goal of retirement. Susan played many rolls in our lives, such as wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend, and many others. She will always be loved and missed more than words can express. A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on May 1, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Will Rogers Senior Center, 3501 Pat Murphy Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
