Teresa Been

Teresa Kay Been passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, OK, after years of battling illness. Teresa was born January 4, 1961 in okc, to Barney Been and Rebecca Allen. Teresa is a loving single parent to 3 children, one of whom passed away as an infant. She is an adoring grandparent of 4, and lived her later years for her children and grandchildren. She spent the last several years helping raise her grandaughters, and kept her grandsons at every opportunity, Teresa is survived by her mother, Rebecca Allen; her stepmother Pat Been; her sisters, Pamela Dickens and Shari Nziramasanga; her daughter Chauncey Bishop, her son Chance Sample; her granddaughters Jaina Bishop and London Cartwright; and her grandsons, Adrian and Ricky Sample. Teresa is predeceased by her father, Barney Lester Been, her brother, Barney Alexander Been, and her son, Ricky Noreuil. Services will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at Noon, at City Church, 6009 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City.
