Thomas Nathaniel Cargill, born Mar. 18, 1961 and passed away April 1, 2010. He was the son of Janet and Dale Cargill both deceased. Thomas was a graduate of Dunbar School class of "™81. Tom worked for 26 years at Dale Rogers Training Center, where he had many friends among his fellow workers and staff. Tom attended Saturday church school for many years and always enjoyed going. Thomas loved going to the Thursday night Dinner and Dance at the Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled. He was an avid collector of Music CD"™s and had a vast collection. He was a big fan of Elvis and the Beatles. Tom loved children, listening to music, cats, keeping up with the weather, keeping his room picked up and neat and most of all he loved being with his family. Thomas is survived by his Brother; Christopher Cargill of OKC, his Aunts; Betty Jo Hecker of OKC, Margie Hecker of Tulsa, his Nephew; Jon Christopher Cargill and wife Brook and his grand-nephew, Landon Cargill of Edmond, his Niece; Shawna Cargill Carter and husband Jeff and his grand-niece Sheridan Carter of Yukon and his life long friend and advocate Bonnie Bird of Yukon. A special thanks to Maria and Mitzy and the entire staff at Wilshire Blvd. Grace Living Center for all the love and care they showered on Tommy in his final months. Also to the good folks at Good Shepherd Hospice for the care provided in his final days. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dale Rogers Training Center (2501 N. Utah Ave. OKC / 405-946-2113) or the Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled (8421 N. Walker Ave. OKC / 405-842-6636) Funeral Services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery Mausoleum at 10am on Monday, April 5, 2010.
