Thomas Lee Elliott, a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend, passed away on October 4, 2010, after a long battle with heart disease. Tom upheld a positive attitude and a good sense of humor to the end.  Tom was born on May 13, 1947, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Harold and Sue Elliott, who both preceded him in death.  He was a 1965 Miami High School graduate and continued his education at Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He married Erna June Henley in 1969. He worked in sales, restaurant management and at Seagate. He was a co-owner of Elliott"™s Oyster Bar in Norman. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, sports cars, OSU football and lending a helping hand to friends. Tom is survived by his son, Sean of OKC, brothers Mike Elliott and wife Carolyn of Miami; David Elliott and wife Daphney of Frisco, TX; sister Susan Gladhill and husband Vernon of Norman; brother-in-law, Robert Henley, sister-in-laws Sandy Tiger -Wilson and husband Mike; Anita Chambless and husband J.J. all of OKC; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial services are 11 a.m. October 16, 2010, at Linwood United Methodist Church where he was a long time member and former Sunday School teacher. Memorial contributions may be made to Linwood United Methodist Church, 3034 Northwest 17th, OKC 73107 or the Oklahoma Heart Association.
