Tommy went to work with Jesus on October 15, 2009 after a sudden heart attack.Tommy was born in Britton, Oklahoma on August 16, 1935 to Doris and Henry Hunteman as the fifth of seven children: Viva, Dorothy, Dick, Betty, Tommy, Jimmy, NancyTommy graduated from John Marshall High School in 1953, served in the US Army as a helicopter flight instructor 1957-1960.Tommy began a career in construction as a carpenter, advanced to a construction superintendent working for a range of contractors.Tommy formed his own construction company Tom H. Hunteman Inc. and continued in this capacity until his death.Tommy married Sally in 1961 and daughter Dana Hunteman was born in 1962.He is survived by daughter Dana, sister Viva, brother Jimmy and many relatives and friends who cared for him deeply He will be remembered as a person who was always ready to help others. He was an avid Sooner fan. The family sends a huge heartfelt thank you to Noble Energy and all of Ardmore, Oklahoma. He loved you all dearly.A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 on November 7 in Oklahoma City at Corbetts Funeral Home. Your favorite Sooner wear is requested.In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
