Veronica Mary Dolan

Veronica "Vernie" Dolan, 53, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend went to meet her Mother and Lord and Savior on Aug. 25, 2010 after a valiant three-year battle with Cancer.  She was born July 24, 1957 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Kaye Lile Dolan and Joseph Dolan. She graduated from Central High School, Aberdeen, SD and attended Lake Area Technical College in Watertown, SD.  She worked as a manager for a Hearing Aide Company as well as a Laundromat manager.  She has one daughter and moved to Edmond, OK to be close to her.  She was preceded in death by her parents.   She is survived by her daughter, Katie Oseland and her loving husband, John and her beautiful Grandson, Ryan, Edmond, OK.  She is also survived by her siblings Rodney (Carol) Dolan, Springfield, MA; Craig, Tammy, Ty, and Eric Dolan, all of Sioux Falls, SD; Thelma "Jenna" Fowler, North Sioux City, IA; Barbara Dolan, McCook Lake, IA; Jennifer (Dwight) Roth, Moville, IA; as well as 16 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.  Her passions included golfing, fishing, camping, outdoors, sewing, and cooking.  She loved her cat and precious friends and family.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and had a special kind of charisma that was contagious.  She made friends wherever she went.  She will be so missed and never forgotten.  There will be a private service for friends and family in Edmond, OK on Saturday, August 28, 2010, followed by a service and interment in her home town of Sioux Falls, SD.
