Virgil Roger' Wood

Virgil Roger’ Wood, 62, of Midwest City, passed away on August 25, 2020, due to liver failure. He was born March 21, 1958 to parents Virgil Eugene & Raymonde Wood in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Virgil graduated from South Side High School in 1979. He married Dominique in 1988. Virgil is survived by His wife Dominique Wood, his children Randolph and Maria Wood, and his siblings- Randy Wood, Jeannine McCrea, Melanie Reed and Andre Wood. Virgil served 23 years in the U.S. Navy as Aircraft Maintenance. In his free time Virgil loved to garden and spend time outside with his children. He also loved to cook for family during the holidays. He was an avid bird watcher and like to watch the Price is Right every Friday morning with Dominique. Virgil was a member of the local D.A.V Chapter in Midwest City, enjoyed volunteering with them for the Flag education program, and was a life-long Arkansas Razorbacks fan.
