She was born June 29, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Stella Smola. She graduated from Gage Park High School where she met, and eventually married, Robert Lukaszek. Shortly after their marriage in 1961, she relocated to Oklahoma City to join Robert as he began his career at Western Electric. She started work as a proofer at Citizens National Bank and then left her job to stay home and raise her children. Later she returned to work in the printing industry where she worked with close family friends. Virginia’s greatest love was her family. In her retirement, she provided daycare for all six of her precious grandchildren, all of which she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents Walter and Stella; and her brother Walter, Jr. She leaves behind her daughter,...
